How does parking work at SYR?
Proceed to the open lot or garage and pull a ticket. We suggest leaving the ticket in the vehicle so you do not lose it while away (visor, glove compartment). Upon returning, you will use the ticket at the exit lanes and pay the balance via cash or credit card.
Do you have a prepay system?
Yes, you are able to make a prepaid parking reservation in advance.
Do you need a reservation to park?

No. You simply obtain a ticket upon entry for the parking option that you prefer (garage or open lot) and choose your parking space. However prepaid parking reservations are available to guarantee a space.

Can I make a prepaid parking reservation as a member of the SYRiously Fast Express Parking Program?
Yes, you simply need to remove your device upon entering so you are not charged twice.
Do you have a long-term parking area?

No. The garage, open lots, and overflow lot can be used for both short and long-term parking.

Can I park an oversized vehicle at SYR?

Yes. Lifted trucks may pull a ticket and park in the open lots. RVs, trucks with trailers, etc must park in the Overflow lot, pay for each space utilized, and must pre-pay for parking. Please call the parking office at (315) 454-5690 to arrange parking.

What is the height clearance of the Garage?

6 feet 10 inches

Do I have the option to catch a shuttle?

No. Even if parking in the open lot, it’s a quick 5-minute walk through the garage to the terminal. If parking in the garage, the elevators take you to the ground level to then proceed to the terminal. The other option when parking in the garage is to use the two bridges that connect the garage and terminal.

Do you offer any discounts (military, AAA, etc.)?
No. All pricing is provided by Syracuse International Airport.
How do I use the pre-paid parking after I purchase it?

Your pre-paid parking confirmation email will include a QR Code, which is your pre-paid parking pass.  You must scan your QR Code from either your mobile phone or paper copy to enter and exit the parking facility.  Codes can be scanned at any entrance or exit lane. 

Can I pre-pay specifically for an ADA space?

ADA spaces are available at all parking facilities.  Spaces are limited and available on a first-come, first serve basis.

My pre-paid parking pass is not working

Check to ensure you are at the correct entrance and entering on/after your chosen start time. The Garage has a separate entrance, past the Open Lot entrance.  For additional assistance, call SP+ Airport Services at (315)454-5690.

What if I return past the end time listed on my pre-paid parking pass?

If you have parked past the end time indicated on your pre-paid parking pass, you will be required to pay the additional fees at the exit lane.  After scanning your pre-paid parking pass, any amount due will be indicated on the screen. 

What if my trip is cut short, and I exit the facility before the time listed on my pre-paid parking pass? Will I receive a refund for the difference?

There are no refunds for partially used pre-paid parking.

Can I cancel my pre-paid parking, and will I receive a refund?

You may cancel your pre-paid parking by accessing your parking pass, provided in your pre-paid parking confirmation email.  You will receive a confirmation email upon successful cancellation of your pre-paid parking. Refunds are provided only for cancellations confirmed before the start time indicated on the pre-paid parking pass.  

How do I edit my reservation associated with my pre-paid parking stay?

Reservation Start and End times cannot be changed under an existing reservation.  Please cancel that reservation prior to the start time. You will receive a full refund and then you should make a new reservation using your updated travel information. 

What if I have pre-paid for parking, but the parking facility is full and closed when I arrive?

Your pre-paid parking confirmation reserves your parking space in the facility on the start date of your parking reservation!  If the entrance is closed upon arrival, call the parking office at (315)454-5690 and someone will let you in.

I want to pre-pay for a facility that is not showing up as an option. How do I pre-pay so I can ensure I have a spot?

There are a limited number of spaces that can be pre-paid and reserved.  If the facility you are looking for is not showing up in the list of available options, there is no availability to pre-pay for the time period selected.  However, it’s likely that drive-up parking in the desired facility may still be and option.  For any additional questions, please contact SP+ Airport Services at (315)454-5690.

Will I have to pay additional fees at the facility?

Your pre-paid parking pass will indicate the time period you opted to pre-pay for. Any time outside of the entry and exit time will result in additional fees. Additional fees must be paid at the facility exit.

Is monthly parking available?
Yes. Monthly parking is available for $225 a month, with a 6-month commitment required.
